Because of this "erotic" scene, and a "very hard" lesbian relationship, (was too much for the 60's) the film was condemned by the censors, which have cuts some scenes. But this style trasgressive and slightly erotic was the secret of his success. This film became in the years the masterpiece and the Icon of Antonio Margheriti's cinema.
